Fans of Alien were thrilled when original director Ridley Scott returned to the franchise to direct a prequel, and horribly disappointed when the result was a pretentious, nonsensical mess that suffered from idiot scientists, space captains who can only run in straight lines, and basically NO FRIGGIN' XENOMORPHS.
