We could all use a little liquid comfort this winter, whether it's eggnog, mulled wine, a hot toddy, hot buttered rum, a spiked hot chocolate, dark beer, or some other cozy concoction. We've compiled this list of places serving these cups of cheer for takeout or with outdoor seating, so you can safely nog and gløgg to your heart's content, plus events where you can shop for boozy treats and gifts. Fiasco List
The Wallingford Italian restaurant has added four new holiday offerings: the "Ardberg Fog" (Ardbeg Uigeadail Single Malt Islay Scotch, Earl Grey syrup, vanilla bean, and steamed soy milk), the "Hot Not-Buttered Rum" (spiced rum, vegan butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, and vegan whipped cream), the "County Fair Old-Fashioned" (rye, house spiced-apple syrup, and chocolate bitters), and "Trinidad Sour" (Angostura bitters, rye, orgeat, and lemon).

Frolik List
The downtown rooftop bar has dropped its holiday cocktail menu, which features "Miracle on Fifth Street" (Gothic gin, Grey Goose Le Citron, house-made cranberry cordial, Fernet Branca mist) and the "Deck the Halls with Chocolate Balls" (a Sweet Nothings and More List hot chocolate bomb spiked with Rumple Minze and Baileys).

Navy Strength List
Navy Strength's holiday-tiki-themed cocktail bar pop-up Sippin' Santa Past Event List (a spinoff of Miracle on 2nd Past Event List at nearby Rob Roy List ) invites you to "imagine Santa on a surfboard instead of a sleigh and palm trees instead of pine." This year's lineup of festive tropical cocktails will feature beverages like the eponymous "Sippin' Santa" (Appleton Estate Signature Rum, amaro, nutmeg, ginger, lemon juice, and orange juice) and the "Brah Humbug" (hot mulled wine with Scotch and Drambuie).

The Queen Anne restaurant has kits to make an impressive toasted marshmallow Old Fashioned (with bourbon and toasted marshmallow simple syrup) or a winter Aperol spritz (a wintry take on the summer classic with sloe gin and rosemary).

Rob Roy List
The downtown cocktail bar is reprising its popular Miracle on 2nd pop-up Past Event List , which transforms the space into an over-the-top Christmas wonderland with kitsch-tastic drinks. This year, the pop-up is available for to-go orders only, with "a lot of amusing decor and twerking Santas to elbow bump as you walk through to pick up your take-home kits. Photo ops, a chance for a quick shot, and 15 minutes of holiday delight will all be yours!" The lineup includes the "Bad Santa" (mulled wine, tawny port, orange liqueur, Christmas spices), the Die Hard-inspired "Yippie Ki Yay Mother F*****!" (Barbados rum, Appleton Blend, Plantation overproof rum, JM Rhum Agricole, pumpkin-almond orgeat, lime, Angostura bitters), "Jingle Bells Nog" (Landy cognac, cream sherry, almond milk, egg, vanilla, cream, nutmeg), and more. The pop-up is open Tuesday-Sunday, through Christmas Day.

Super Six List
The Columbia City restaurant is selling four-packs of Manhattans with four different variations: the classic version with bourbon, Dolin Rouge Vermouth, Scrappy's angostura bitters, and an amarena cherry; a "Black Manhattan" with Old Overholt rye, Averna Amaro, Scrappy's chocolate bitters, and an orange twist; the "Terraplane" with bourbon, Genepy le Chamois, Dolin Rouge, aromatic bitters, and an amarena cherry; and the Montenegro with bourbon, Montenegro Amaro, honey syrup, Scrappy's orange bitters, and an amarena cherry.

This recently reopened chess-themed bar in Pioneer Square is serving up steaming mugs of hot toddies with Four Roses bourbon, honey, ginger, lemon, and Angostura bitters. They also have a grown-up hot chocolate made with milk, Aloo chili pepper vodka, rum, Swiss Miss cocoa syrup, and espresso liqueur.

The Capitol Hill aperitivo bar is shaking up the traditional eggnog format with their version, which contains chili chai-infused cognac, nocino, sugar, eggs, cream, and milk, available in a 16 oz bottle (four servings) or in a kit with Christmas Eve cookies and ice cream.

Baker's List
The Ballard cocktail bar's luxe house-made "Egg Nog Riot" contains a house rum blend, oloroso sherry, and Camus VS cognac. There's also a vegan version, "Egg Nog Revolution," with Lustau Brandy, Singani 63, tepache, velvet falernum, and koji rice milk.

Delancey List
The Ballard pizza haven has released their secret-recipe 'nog from their cocktail bar Essex List , which contains no fewer than five kinds of booze (!) and fresh nutmeg. Monday, December 21 will be their last day making it, so stock up while you can.

The Maple in Maple Leaf has a house-made eggnog blend made with brandy, dark rum, egg yolks, cream, and nutmeg, aged for over 30 days. Unfortunately, it's currently sold out, but another batch will be available on Monday, December 20.

Chef Edouardo Jordan's acclaimed restaurant is upping the ante for milk and cookies with their "Nog Your Socks Off," a bottled house-made aged eggnog. Pair it with their sesame almond cookies to really impress Santa.

This Central District cafe is serving "North Pole Nog" with Four Roses bourbon, toasted spices, orange zest, and eggnog. They also have a range of other festive cocktails, including "Hot Buttered Yum" with Plantation rum and spiced vanilla ice cream butter batter, “Almond Joy to the World" (steamed milk of choice with Shipwreck coconut cream rum, amaretto, and Meletti chocolate liqueur), the "Please Sir I Want S'more" (Three Olives vodka, marshmallow fluff, dark chocolate drizzle, and a dusting of cinnamon), and a Christmas-themed Cosmopolitan.

The Velvet Elk List
Mount Baker's speakeasy-esque neighborhood hangout has aged boozy "velvet eggnog" with bourbon, rum, brandy, milk, heavy cream, sugar egg yolks, velvet bitters, and fresh ground nutmeg, as well as to-go holiday punch kits to enliven your next family Zoom call. If you want an extra touch of glamour, they also have hand-picked vintage punch sets.

Wide Eyed Wines List

WINTER BEERS

Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery List
The cooperative brewery's seasonal Yuletide Ale Mulled Barley Wine is brewer Luke Wingard’s bourbon barrel-aged “Flying Fig” barley wine, combined with "malty, reddish ale" fermented with a Norwegian “Kviek” yeast aged for an extended period of time in red wine barrels, and spiced with Flying Bike Assistant Brewer Jesse Young’s classic winter holiday blend. A limited amount of bottles are available for pickup, and it will also be served at the taproom this weekend.

Flying Lion List
Dark times call for dark beers: Flying Lion will be holding a socially distanced version of their annual dark beer extravaganza Dark Beer Fest Past Event List from December 17-20, with tables available by reservation and an extra day to space out attendance. Over 30 dark beers, including cellared favorites, special releases, and limited brews, will be available. Plus, Flying Lion will release a collaboration brew made with Counterbalance Brewing, and Brownrigg Hard Cider will create a dark cider just for the occasion.

This microbrewery and tasting room has plenty of dark, toasty, warming beers, including Snow Beer'd Winter Ale, Skull Kraken Stout, Import/Export Nitro Stout, and Night Rider Sour Dark Saison, available in cans or on tap.

Reuben's Brews List
This local craft beer favorite, which just took home nine medals at the 2020 U.S. Beer Open Championship, currently has Reuben Claus (a holiday version of their award-winning Robust Porter infused with peppermint and cocoa nibs) and Three Ryes Men (a barleywine brewed with multiple types of rye and aged in whiskey barrels, described by co-founder Adam Robbings as a "liquefied Rolo"). Reuben's is also currently offering an Advent Calendar to count down the days to Christmas with beer—stop by their taproom or to-go store to earn a punch on your card, and you'll win a prize for every six punches.

This tap-focused bottle shop has been frequently tapping wintry brews like Deschutes Brewing's Jubelale, Holy Mountain's Black Beer, and Whitewood Cider Co.'s Cranberry Douglas Fir Wintery Shrub Cider and has a wide selection of seasonal bottles and cans. They're also serving hot mulled wine all season long.
