Ben Campbell, head baker for Lark, does a Sunday bakery pop-up at Southpaw from 11 a.m to 1 p.m., featuring his signature sourdough loaves, English muffins, pastries, cookies, and "whatever I'm in the mood to make: burger buns, pretzel buns, stuff." He also does the bread and desserts for Gravy on Vashon. I'm writing this from their counter, and he's currently in the kitchen whipping up a black sesame cake with strawberries and white bread frosting—leftover bread from Gravy's Sunday barbecue soaked in cream and pureed with sugar and vanilla. The man is a pastry genius, his loaves are seriously next level, and this is a rare chance for you to line your larder with both.
