With a foreword by local legend Sir Mix-a-Lot, Seattle Central College professor Daudi Abe's new book Emerald Street: A History of Hip-Hop in Seattle traces our city's long line of hip-hop greats, exploring how and why hip-hop culture flourished in the local scene. He'll be joined in conversation tonight by local artists Fever One, Julie-C, King Khazm, and Nasty-Nes.
