"A workshop with an unusual and invigorating approach, this one combines fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Admission is highly competitive and limited to 10 students.
Each class meeting will begin with a close reading of a great work of literature, and then we will discuss your work. Heather McHugh will run poetry on Tuesdays, Christopher Frizzelle will run prose on Thursdays, and students may attend sessions across genres.
The cross-disciplinary experience is designed to help you discover things you didn't know you didn't know, and reveal the deeper point of making art in the first place.
Follow this link to apply for the workshop. Applications must be received by November 10; you will be notified of a decision by November 14. If you are accepted into the workshop, you will be given a special code that will allow you to compete this purchase." (Promo Copy)
