Phase 1.5 updates: "The Boat Street patio will be opening Tuesday, June 9th! Weather permitting, of course. We’ll have a special En Plein Air menu including small plates, cocktails and wine that will be available from 4:30 to 7:00. Unfortunately, for now, our dinner menu will not be available on the patio. But, to go offerings will remain the same. Due to social distancing efforts, space will be limited. Seating is first come first serve. We will not be offering indoor seating just yet. We can’t wait to host everyone again in our blooming patio!"

Restaurant notes: "Currently offering pickup dinners, brunch, and buy ahead food for the week. We prefer 24 hours' notice, but orders are accepted up to 1/2 hour before pickup. If our pickup hours (Tues–Sat 4:30–7 pm, Sun 10 am–noon) are inconvenient, let us know and we'll setup an alternative time for you. We will accomodate dietary and allergy restrictions when possible. And, upon request, we can custom make your special family recipes or feature a dish you've been missing. Email BoatStreetToGo@outlook.com for more information."

Pickup Process Features: Designated six-feet-apart waiting spots marked out; indoor waiting area; option to bring orders out to customer cars; designated used and sanitized pen cups; no signatures required; hand sanitizer at checkout

This obscurely located but lovely French-ish bistro from Renee Erickson (now more well-known for the later Walrus and the Carpenter in Ballard and the Whale Wins in Fremont/Wallingford) is a longtime favorite for good reason. Especially nice, weather permitting: sweet, quiet outdoor seating for brunchtime sunshine. The Boat Street Kitchen is the successor to the dearly departed Boat Street Cafe.
