This relaxed, elevated fast-casual wine bar comes from the owners of Maple Leaf's Italian restaurant Piccolo, which closed in 2016 after ten years of business. From 11 am to 3 pm, they offer a lineup of paninis for lunch, with distinctive options like smoked, slow-roasted porchetta, braised beef cheek, crispy fried duck with spicy pickle slaw, and more, in addition to soups and salads. After 3 pm, the menu switches to small plates, some of which are Spanish and Italian inspired, as well as some sandwiches and pasta. To drink, there's boozy phosphates with house-made botanical syrups, scratch sodas, a lengthy wine list, and local beer.
