Pickup Process Details: Walk up to Herb & Bitter's outdoor takeout/pickup window or call ahead to order—most things take 10 minutes to prep, except the whole roasted chicken, which takes 30 minutes. The restaurant has designated six-feet-apart waiting spots marked outside to maintain social distancing, designated used and sanitized pen cups, and hand sanitizer at checkout. Orders can also be brought out to cars upon request. Masks are required for employees and the restaurant also is committed to proper hand washing and sanitizing of surfaces.

Delivery available through Grubhub, Caviar, Uber Eats, and Postmates. Online ordering coming soon to herbandbitter.com for discounted order pickup.

Herb & Bitter Public House, from Jesus Escobor (who also owns Rocco's in Belltown) occupies the space that was home to Than Brothers Pho for many years. It’s been completely overhauled and now has skylights, a massive bar made of reclaimed wood, and, most notably, a back patio with a retractable glass roof (and air conditioning and heating) that will be open year-round. As the name implies, the well-stocked bar serves cocktails built on various amari, the bitter, herbal Italian liqueur, as well as eight spirits that are barrel-aged in house, and 20 taps of craft and hard-to-find beers. The menu is Spanish-style tapas.
