Noodle Boat, serving some of the most authentic Thai food in the area in an Issaquah strip mall, is cozy and familial. Owner Kunticha Komonwanich employs her mom as head chef and her friends as waiters. The curries are thick, citrusy, and sinus-clearing spicy. Donβt miss the mieng kum, a deconstructed/DIY salad of roasted coconut, peanuts, red onion, and lime wrapped in betel leaves, or the khao soi, crispy egg noodles and pickled mustard greens in a coconut milk curry.
