Rigoletto is in a huge, antique-industrial-posh space in Amazon’s new bedroom community, one block south of Mercer and two blocks west of I-5—closer to Fierabend and the Victory Lounge than Re:public or Shanik. The owner is the founder of also-in-South-Lake-Union bakery La Toscanella, which Stranger sweets expert Megan Seling absolutely loved, both for the baked goods and the pasta lunches. While Rigoletto's Facebook says they serve “Innovative Italian Cuisine,” the menu looks straight-up classic Northern Italian--and pricey, with entrees ranging up to $34. (Rigoletto, of course, is the name of the hunch-backed court jester in Verdi's famous opera of the same name--thanks, Wikipedia.)
