Welcome to EverOut, Tacomans!

We're Still in Development, But We're So Excited To Be Here

Hi there, Tacomans! We're excited you're here! Before you start poking around, let us introduce you to our site.

Here at EverOut, our one goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to go out and have a good time. Our team started out creating and editing comprehensive city calendars for the Pulitzer Prize-winning Seattle newspaper The Stranger and its sister paper Portland Mercury. After years of experience exhaustively covering events exclusively in Seattle and Portland, we decided that more people needed a one-stop-shop, comprehensive resource for finding things to do in their own cities.

So we're starting with you, Tacoma. We don't have to tell you that you're more than just Seattle's little sister. You've got a burgeoning arts and entertainment scene (some of the writers at The Stranger are seriously jealous) and we are here for it. Literally.

We want EverOut to be your home base for exploring the City of Destiny. From our Tacoma homepage, you'll find our curated guides to the best things to do around town, plus listings for movies, concerts, art shows, and everything in between.

We're just getting started, though. As we grow in Tacoma, we'll have even more event listings, more guides, and more tools to help you navigate this town.

As we do that, we want to hear your feedback. If you want to talk to us, just email  tacoma@everout.com. What kinds of events do you care about most? What features would make our site more useful? What's your favorite spot for burgers in town? We want to know about all of it. Really.

In the meantime, keep checking back here any time you're looking for something fun to do—whenever you're going out. (Get it? Sorry. Jokes are also still in development.) Plus, make sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to make sure you never miss a thing!

Or, if you like our mission, consider applying to be our Tacoma calendar editor!
