Sleigh Bells Past Event List
Brooklyn-based duo Sleigh Bells juxtaposes sweet vocals and pop hooks from singer Alexis Krauss with harsh guitar riffs and production by Derek E. Miller. The resulting sound is addictive noise pop that keeps you on your toes, especially at the band's energetic live shows. Their first album in five years, Texis, was released in September 2021.

Wolf Alice
Past Event List London-based rockers Wolf Alice effortlessly transition from a serene and subtle sound one moment to a raucous cacophony the next. Their three albums to date—My Love is Cool, Visions of a Life, and Blue Weekend—are all Mercury Prize nominees and have been critically lauded, and it's high time more folks in the U.S. cotton on to their "feral and sophisticated" (The Daily Telegraph) brilliance.

The multi-disciplinary dance company BodyVox is getting gory with their Halloween production "BloodyVox," making their return to the IRL stage for the first time since the pandemic began. The production will explore "cinema, folklore and our collective nightmares to resurrect the spirits of All Hallows Eve" through dance. Showgoers are invited to dress up in costume or masks.

Portlanders will rise from the dead to perform Michael Jackson's classic "Thriller" dance. Come in costume and participate, or simply spectate at this thrilling decade-and-a-half-long tradition that screams "keep Portland weird." DJ Prashant's dance troupe will be on hand to perform a Bollywood version of the dance, and the PDX Witches will also grace the crowd with their famous broom dance.

Milagro's 25th Original Día de Muertos Festival Past Event List
Bilingual theatre Milagro presents their annual Día de Muertos festival, providing a joyous space for reunion to celebrate and honor those who have passed. Exploring the concepts of rebirth and renewal, this month-long program will include an altar, craft workshops, concerts, poetry, readings, a Día de Muertos documentary, and more.

Run Like Hell 10K - 5K
Past Event List Don your Halloween costume and take part in this fun run where you can choose the length (5 or 10K) of your course and whether you walk like a zombie or run like a bat out of hell. The event will begin and end at the Milwaukie Elks Lodge, taking participants along a flat, paved trolley trail. Live music, beer, food, and more will await runners and walkers at the finish line.

Greer: Happy People Tour
Past Event List Orange County three-piece Greer has accomplished quite a bit in their three-year career. The band originally formed to play their high school homecoming dance, but landed a record deal soon after releasing their first single. Their youthful exuberance can be heard on their debut EP Lullaby for You, and the title track of their tour, which will lead into a four-track EP in November. Greer will be joined by fellow Cali indie rockers Momma for their Portland tour stop, for which they've issued the following warning: "Attend in costume or attend in shame!!"

Emmy-nominated Sasha Scarlett will host Portland's sexiest event, taking up three floors of the Crystal Ballroom. Costumes (or stylized states of undress) are a must, so you might as well go all out in pursuit of costume contest prizes (over $5,000 in cash is up for grabs). Soul Vaccination will perform, DJ OG ONE—the official DJ of the Blazers—will keep bodies rocking, and you can admire circus performers and aerial and burlesque performances or get in on the action on the interactive fetish demonstration stage.

Bewitched! Outdoor Halloween Dance Party Past Event List
Dance under the moon—and maybe even howl at it—at this outdoor party where you're encouraged to dress like your favorite witch, sorcerer, magician, or in orange and black. DJs Action Slacks and Wildman James will "summon the disembodied voices of spirits-of-dance-floors-past," spinning '50s R&B, '60s and early '70s soul, and more oldies until you end up in a trance.

The pop-up takes inspiration from Williams' Black-Filipina heritage and love of pop culture and Halloween and will feature Midsommar-inspired mushroom tocino "meat" pies, matcha coconut cupcakes, dirt cups with pandan frosting, pumpkin cinnamon rolls, and ube whoopie pies.
