The Waterfront Blues Festival Past Event List will return to downtown Portland this July 4th weekend after being held at The Lot at Zidell Yards in 2021. Ticket sales and lineup announcements will begin in March.

This week is Cascadia Earthquake Preparedness Week, as newly decreed by Governor Kate Brown. Yesterday, January 26, marked 322 years since the last “big one,” making us long overdue for another high magnitude quake.

The Portland Timbers preseason tournament Past Event List will be held from February 13-19, featuring Minnesota United FC, Real Salt Lake, and Norway’s Viking FK. Tournament tickets are included with 2022 Annual Memberships, with individual tickets to be released at a later date.

In partnership with nonprofits KultureCity and the Autism Society of Portland, the Portland International Airport has opened its first-ever sensory room, “designed to develop a person's sense through special lighting, music, and objects.” The sensory room is located in concourse D and is open 24/7.

The St. Johns Bridge will be closed to all motor vehicles for five nights of maintenance and bridge inspection, from Monday, January 31 to Saturday, February 5 (10 pm-5 am). Pedestrians and bicyclists will be permitted to use the bridge, with flaggers directing them.
