This week, we're raising a pickle martini to the opening of the Portland Pickles' new sports bar, slurping noodles at the highly anticipated Toya Ramen & Bar, and looking forward to the opening of Los Burros Supremos inside the Ace Hotel. For more ideas, check out our food and drink guide.

Portland Pickles Public House List
Portland's favorite meme-making collegiate baseball team, known for its briny bad boy mascot Dillon the Pickle, has officially opened its very own sports bar, complete with a three-story-high screen for game viewings of all kinds, as well as pickle martinis, pickle margaritas, and pickleback shots.

Quiche Me If You Can List
Bridgetown Bites reports that this punnily named quiche purveyor will open in the former Sebastiano's List location in Montavilla tomorrow. The spot doesn't have sit-down dining yet but will provide takeout quiches for all your Easter weekend festivities.

Toya Ramen & Bar List
Former Eem List chef Colin Yoshimoto, who honed his noodle-making skills early on in the pandemic, launched this ramen shop in the former Danwei Canting List space on March 21. Named in honor of Yoshimoto's maternal grandmother, the restaurant specializes in pure, delicate chintan broths. In addition to ramen, there's also a selection of izakaya snacks, cocktails, and sake.

Los Burros Supremos List
Industry vet Adán Fausto's regional burrito business is set to move into the former Kenny & Zuke's List space in the downtown Ace Hotel by early April.

Big's Chicken List
Your Neighborhood Restaurant Group's Alabama-style fried chicken joint plans to close its Beaverton location after service on Sunday. The spot will reopen as the third location of the group's Hawaiian food concept Ate-Oh-Ate in the coming weeks.

McCormick & Schmick’s Harborside at the Marina List
The Portland-borne national seafood chain will shutter its Harborside outpost after service on Sunday.

Spring Brew Fest Past Event List
Scope out sought-after craft brewers like Migration, pFriem, and Everybody's at this vernal beer extravaganza. While you taste, you'll be serenaded with live music and will have the chance to participate in raffles. An optional buffet add-on is also available.

Springy Easter Treats Pastry Pop-Up with Bubblegum Bakery Past Event List
The writer Iris Murdoch once said, "One of the secrets of a happy life is continuous small treats," which is a philosophy I share. We've made it through the long, treacherous Pacific Northwest winter, and it's time for a little reward. In celebration of Easter, the bakery pop-up Bubblegum Bakery will sling delicately flavored springtime baked goods like rhubarb and pistachio maritozzi (Roman brioche buns), chocolate nest pies, lemon and olive oil layer cakes, and frosted cookie sandwiches at the Montavilla cafe and market Zuckercreme.

Filipino Food Month Remind List
Your April just got way more delicious: Members of ALIST Consulting, Baon Kainan, Magna Kusina, and Magna Kubo have come together to present the Portland area's inaugural Filipino Food Month, featuring a collaboration between over 26 small local businesses. Each week, 15 different locations between Beaverton and Troutdale will offer fresh food and drink specials highlighting a different classic Filipino ingredient, complemented by "historical and personal storytelling" online to lend additional cultural context. With participants like GrindWitTryz, Makulit, Shop Halo Halo, Sun Rice, Sugarpine Drive-In, and more, this culinary crawl promises to be as mouthwatering as it is educational.
