Welcome to March! We're forging ahead into a fresh month with the arrival of Grey Horse Saloon, where chef Sage Houser is serving gussied-up franks from his pop-up Third Coast Hot Dogs. Plus, Ice Queen puts a vegan spin on the Shamrock Shake, and natural wine abounds at The Wild Bunch this weekend. For more ideas, check out our food and drink guide.

Pho Gabo List
It's hard to imagine not wanting to inhale the aromatic scent of simmering pho, but this Vietnamese favorite has shuttered its Northeast Fremont Street location after the city and neighbors whined about the smell. Brooke Jackson-Glidden of Eater Portland rightly points out the racist and xenophobic connotations of these grumblings, writing, "If you don’t like the smell of cooking food, maybe don’t live near a restaurant?"
