Last month, this sushi spot debuted downtown, with a menu of appetizers, salads, bento boxes, sashimi, nigiri, sushi rolls, donburi, yakisoba, and teriyaki, hot and cold sake, and desserts like mochi ice cream and tempura cheesecake.

Casa Colima Mexican Restaurant List
This family-owned Mexican restaurant, which operates locations in Hillsdale, Tualatin, and Vancouver, launched a new outpost in Happy Valley in late January. Dishes include tableside guacamole, ceviche, chimichangas, street tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, and more.

Hokkaido Sushi Bar List
Another new sushi joint: This restaurant opened in Vancouver at the end of January and serves nigiri, sashimi, yakisoba, udon, and specialty rolls like the "Clackamas Roll" (shrimp tempura, asparagus, spicy salmon, spicy mayo, and eel sauce).

Inherent Vine List
This natural wine bottle shop carrying exclusively organic/biodynamic/low-intervention wines soft opens today and will host a tasting from 5-7 pm.

Jubilee Hall PDX List
This non-profit neighborhood coffee shop from Diaspora Coffee & Chai Co List soft opened in East Portland on February 1. The establishment, which serves coffee, chai, bagels, and baked goods, aims to help immigrants and refugees learn English and job skills by providing them with training.

The drive-thru coffeehouse (known for being the first of its kind) opened a new location in Vancouver on February 4.

Tomo Ramen List
The Hawthorne neighborhood welcomed this cozy, stylish ramen house at the end of January. The pint-sized space features dim lighting, glowing lanterns, and red accents. Besides ramen, the spot serves dishes like chicken karaage and gyoza.

Two Hands Fresh Corndogs List
This Los Angeles chain known for its signature Korean-style corn dogs (which are dipped in rice flour batter and fried for a chewy-crispy effect) recently opened its first Oregon location in Hillsboro. Topping options range from sweet ranch to hot Cheetos powder to crispy puffed rice.

The Heist List
This upcoming food cart pod is slated to open in a former US Bank space in Woodstock later this spring, likely by April or May. The pod is expected to host around 18 regular carts, in addition to a few rotating ones.

The Top Burmese family plans to debut this modern teahouse serving "pan-Asiatic Cuisine anchored by Singaporean, Malaysian and Burmese Dishes" in Beaverton this spring.

Psychic Bar List
The moody supernatural-themed cocktail bar housed in a converted Victorian house revealed this week that it will close its doors on February 19. However, there might be good fortune in the space's future after all: A mix of owners from Hey Love List , Victoria List , and the Palm Springs-based resort Villa Royale plans to take over the location.



10th Anniversary Celebration and Whisky Release Past Event List
Help Pilot House Distilling celebrate a decade of business with a complimentary sample of their 10th batch of ocean-aged A-O Come Hell or High Water single-malt whisky, which was aged in-house for two years and then sent out to sea on the South Bay fishing vessel.

Past Event List Stroll beneath twinkling lights while browsing over 175 vendor booths, selling food, drink, clothing, accessories, flowers, home goods, beauty products, arts and crafts, and more. The Valentine's Day edition of the market will feature baby goats, a "Blind Date With a Book" activation, and a Break Up Bar with cocktails inspired by break-up anthems.

Williams Sonoma Grand Opening Past Event List
The home and kitchen shop Williams Sonoma will celebrate its Brewery Blocks debut with free totes for the first 250 shoppers on February 10, plus complimentary coffee and espresso from local roasters Coava, Proud Mary, and Upper Left from 10 am-1:30 pm on February 10-12. Plus, star chef Gregory Gourdet of Kann will drop by for a cooking demo and tasting at 5 pm on February 10.

Spokane-based chef and James Beard Award semifinalist Jeremy Hansen, who has worked at the Michelin-starred Cafe Gray in New York, will serve a preview of his upcoming breakfast and brunch spot Drift Boat, which will focus on produce and seafood. Bantam Tavern bar manager Amy Tegge will provide a special cocktail menu to complement the specials.

This juice bar and coffee shop is serving some vibrant pink drinks for the month of February, including a "Cupid's Bow Smoothie" and a "Beet Rose Latte."

Fire on the Mountain
The local wing joint chain is currently offering deep-fried cheeseburger rangoons, filled with seasoned ground beef, cheddar cheese, pickles, and onions. The Burnside location is also serving up fried cheesecake bites, fried Brussels sprouts, and vegan "barn burner" chili, while the Fremont location has a Nashville fried chicken sandwich special through the end of the month.
