We've got major spring fever this week and are ready to sip Negronis on the outdoor patio at Sebastiano's new home in Sellwood. Plus, Rangoon Bistro's opened a second restaurant, Bar Norman bids adieu, and a new bar plans to take over the Sweet Hereafter space. For more ideas, check out our food and drink guide.

Rangoon Bistro List
The locally sourced Burmese spot Rangoon Bistro, which got its start as a farmers market stand and opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant List in Richmond in March 2022, unveiled a second location on North Mississippi on Sunday. The outpost plans to offer a new specials menu with rotating seasonal dishes like keema palata and satay skewers.

Last week, Montavilla's Sicilian bakery and deli Sebastiano's completed its move into an expanded space in Sellwood. The family-owned business is now open from 9 am-5 pm and features an indoor dining room and outdoor patio.

Bar Norman List
Acclaimed sommelier Dana Frank broke the news on March 5 that her pioneering natural wine bar will close on April 6. She wrote on Instagram, "I don’t need to share how difficult the past few years have been, and I really don’t want to be mired in the what-ifs and whys anymore. I’m immensely proud of the work our team has done in welcoming in and contributing to this vibrant community we live in. We’ve put each other first every single day of Bar Norman’s life, brought humor and love to painful situations, and wrapped our arms around our patrons since we opened. I cannot think of a better way to run a business."

Rusa List
Chef Sasanna Babashof announced this week that she is permanently closing her cart specializing in Latin American and Eastern European flavors at the Alberta Carts pod. Though the cart is now closed, Babashof will reopen it for one last day for fans looking to pay their respects.

Viking Soul Food List
This popular spot known for its lefse (Norwegian flatbread) and other Scandinavian specialties plans to close its Southeast Belmont Street cart after owners Megan Walhood and Jeremy Daniels sell their iconic vintage Streamline trailer (affectionately named Gudrun). Coffee Beer Six-Year Anniversary Past Event List
We love a comeback: The quirky neighborhood fixture Coffee Beer, known for its beloved pug mascot A$AP Douglas, narrowly escaped going out of business this year, so they've got plenty to celebrate. Fittingly, they're going all out for their sixth anniversary this week with a party that will include drink specials featuring Oatly and Liquid Death, cupcakes from local bakery KAKAIBA, small-batch treats from Viridescence Candy Co., handmade gear from Pink Tag Bags, an appearance from "darkadelic" artist Trbo B Lazr, and a photo booth from Happymatic.
