This week, two of Portland's most exciting pop-ups, Marble Queen and Street Disco, have launched their own permanent brick-and-mortars. Plus, local wine veteran Joel Gunderson and St. Jack chef Aaron Barnett launch their own wine bar, Elephant Delicatessen opens a new Lake Oswego location with gelato and baguette sandwiches, and the bakery Banquette is serving up London Fog cream puffs and oat milk lavender latte macarons. 19 Acres Cider Co. List
Looking for a fun fall destination? The owners of Oregon Heritage Farms launched this hard cider tasting room inside a converted barn last Friday, serving cider flights, pours, and charcuterie boards.

The beloved deli and catering business expanded with a new location in Lake Oswego this Wednesday. Unlike the chain's other locations, this outpost features gelato and a new line of hot baguette sandwiches.

Heavenly Creatures List
Seasoned Portland wine pro Joel Gunderson and St. Jack List chef Aaron Barnett opened this new wine bar and shop in the Coopers Hall List pace on Wednesday. The new spot serves high-low snacks like Camembert "Cheez Whiz" and young yellowtail tuna on toast alongside hard-to-find wines from locales like Provence and Burgundy—sounds like a winning combo to us.

Marble Queen List
Chef Johnny Sullivan's pop-up Marble Queen (named after one of Sullivan's house plants, a type of pothos) debuted a brick-and-mortar restaurant in the former MF Tasty List space last Friday, serving a funky menu of items like shrimp toast, oat milk egg creams, fried chicken sandwiches, and loaded home fries with chili crisp.

Dame List alums Kyle Christy and Jessie Manning's pop-up opened its brick-and-mortar location in the former CHAR Pizza List space last Friday, with locally sourced small plates inspired by France, Spain, and Italy.

Manzana Rotisserie Grill List
This Lake Oswego waterfront spot specializing in food with Southwestern and Pacific Northwest influences closed on October 19. The reason for the closure is unknown.

Open Tandoor List
The North Indian favorite known for its open kitchen and tandoor-cooked dishes recently closed its North Williams location but appears to be planning to reopen elsewhere in North Portland.

Renata List
This acclaimed Italian restaurant in Buckman announced on Instagram this week that it has closed permanently, citing the continued impact of the pandemic as the main factor contributing to the closure. The owners plan to shift their focus to their line of frozen pizzas, which began in 2020 and is available in stores across Oregon and Washington.

Grand Central Bowl's Big Lebowski Halloween Bash
Past Event List Channel The Dude in an oversized wool Cowichan cardigan and head to this Big Lebowski-themed bash, which will offer food, drinks, bowling, games, and costume prizes, not to mention $5 White Russians. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Union Gospel Mission, which provides over 200,000 meals a year to those in need.

A percentage of sales for the evening and raffle sales will be donated to Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette.

Black Lagoon Pop-Up Bar Past Event List
Break out your best goth finery: The Jupiter NEXT Hotel's stylish '70s-inspired bar Hey Love is hosting Black Lagoon, a spooky Halloween-themed pop-up bar. The experience, dreamed up by bartenders Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage in New Orleans in 2019, features dungeon-esque decor and deliciously ghoulish libations like the "Closed Casket" (Bruichladdich Classic, St. Remy, Giffard L’Abricot, passionfruit syrup, and miso falernum) and the "Hellraiser" (Hornitos, Chairman’s Spiced Rum, Cointreau, and spiced oat orgeat).
