Spring is finally here, which means Passover (March 27–April 4) and Easter (April 4) are both approaching, and both holidays call for some festive meals. We've gathered this list of the restaurants in Portland offering Passover and Easter specials. Whether you're looking for stunning pastel cookies and cakes from Papa Haydn or comforting brisket and matzo ball soup from Elephants Delicatessen, you'll find something for your celebration here. EASTER

Bergerac List
The French bistro has you covered with an Easter brunch feast, which includes a leek and ham quiche or an herb and caramelized onion quiche, sautéed herbed potatoes, and mixed greens with salad dressing. For dinner, they also have a dinner for two with deviled eggs, herb and garlic marinated pork cutlets, roasted baby carrots, and gratin dauphinois, with lemon posset with raspberries and lemon shortbread for dessert. Wine pairings and cocktails are also available. Pickup is available on April 3.

The laidback tavern is offering a special brunch menu from 9 am-3 pm on Easter.

Cascade Grill List
This neighborhood diner will have an Easter brunch with slow-roasted prime rib, honey brown sugar-glazed ham, or chicken breast with Mornay sauce and shrimp garnish. All meals come with a seasonal fruit plate or dinner salad, asparagus, your choice of roasted red potatoes, mashed potatoes, or a baked potato, and a strawberry shortcake with whipped cream.

Gluten Free Gem List
The gluten-free bakery is dolling up their Easter cupcakes with swirls of buttercream. Choose from a four-pack that has lemon curd cupcakes topped with frosting hydrangeas and their "carrot patch" cupcakes with carrot decorations, or from a vegan version with strawberry rose cupcakes and German chocolate cupcakes with chocolate robin's egg nests. (Or try them all!) Pickup is available from April 2-3 only.

Grand Central Bakery
Just in time for Easter, the bakery is offering hot cross buns with warm spices, sweet currants, and candied orange peel, as well as fruit-topped coffee cakes, Easter egg-colored shortbread cookies, and mixed pastry boxes, available from April 1-4. Quantities are limited, so pre-orders are recommended.

Hip Chicks Do Wine List
The urban winery is putting a modern twist on chocolate bunnies by filling the hollow treats with their tawny port wine.

Le Pigeon List
Gabriel Rucker's elegant yet unpretentious French bistro has created an Easter version of its popular takeout "Bird Box," featuring Dungeness crab deviled eggs, brown sugar and rum-glazed ham, cheesy potato gratin, and lemon meringue opera cake.

Montelupo Market List
The market will offer a meal kit for two, with braised lamb shoulder, roasted garlic and parmesan mashed potatoes, salad, and a bottle of white, red, or rosé wine. Orders are due by April 1 for pickup from 12-4 pm on Easter.

Moonstruck Chocolate List
The artisanal chocolatier's "So Egg-cited For Easter" bundle comes with a "carrot patch" collection, cookie white chocolate drops, and their Zenith collection. They also have assorted other Easter treats, like chocolate ducklings and bunnies with "carrot cake" carrots.

Morton's the Steakhouse List
The swanky steakhouse chain has a sumptuous Easter package that includes an egg and onion loaf with whipped butter, a spring mixed green salad, jumbo shrimp cocktail, lump crab cakes, Snake River Farms Kurobuta Berkshire hog ham, maple-glazed baby carrots, spiced apple cornbread stuffing, garlic green beans, sour cream mashed potatoes, and cherry-swirl cheesecake.

Papa Haydn
The quaint restaurant and bakery has plenty of enticing Easter treats, including spring meringue kisses, Easter cookie boxes, fresh fruit tarts, banana chocolate cream tarts, and lemon curd tarts. They're also offering an Easter dinner with spring pea soup, scalloped potatoes, asparagus with pancetta, honey ham, and dessert.

Pix Patisserie List
On Easter Sunday, the bakery will stock fifty of the dessert boxes in its magical contactless "Pix-O-Matic" vending machine with Easter eggs, each with different "golden tickets" tucked inside. One lucky customer will get an egg with a ticket for $50 worth of free treats. The shop is also offering their take on Peeps and Kinder eggs, chocolate bunnies, and other novelties, as well as an Easter Sunday tea package with sweet and savory snacks alongside Jasmine Pearl tea, available for preorder for pickup from April 3-4.

Sisters Gourmet Deli List
For a fun twist on the piñata, Sisters makes "breakable hearts" that come with a tiny mallet to smash them open and reveal a bevy of chocolates and candies inside. Their Easter version comes in sweet spring-worthy colors and has a little marshmallow Peep sitting in a nest of candies and sprinkles on top.

Stem Wine Bar List
Stem will team up with the newly opened vegan comfort food restaurant SxNW List next door to offer an Easter brunch on their patio, with plant-based "chicken" and waffles alongside Stem's mimosas and chocolates.

Unsurprisingly, the hazelnut-finished pork producer has a primo selection of Easter ham, including bone-in, boneless, and sweetheart options. They recommend placing your orders early.

The Mexican cantina will offer a special four-course prix-fixe menu from 8 am-3 pm on Easter with bottomless drinks, fresh fruit, eight different brunch entree options, and three desserts. Every table will also receive a $10 gift card.

The vegan Middle Eastern restaurant is celebrating with a Passover menu that features hummus, spring salad, curry-spiced matzo ball soup, jackfruit brisket, and dark chocolate macaroons.

Unfortunately, Bakeshop owner Kim Boyce's small-batch "sexy matzah," created in collaboration with Rabbi Brian Zachary Mayer of Religion Outside the Box, is all sold out. However, challah is available from the bakery on Fridays for your post-Passover enjoyment.

Kachka List
Bonnie Morales' acclaimed Russian restaurant is offering a Seder dinner with a choice of brisket or roasted trout. Both dinners come with "old-school" matzo ball soup, a bitter green and chicory salad, Swiss chard and porcini mushroom matzo kugel, and chremslach fritters (duck confit or turnip). There's also a non-traditional Seder plate version of Kachka's famous "zakuski" (Russian hors d'oeuvres). Many other Passover accompaniments, like house-made matzah, saffron and Meyer lemon macaroons, charoset, Manischewitz punch, and chocolate-covered matzah with cacao nibs, dried sour cherries, and toasted hazelnuts, are also available. In place of the "four cups of wine" tradition, they've also created a (non-kosher) vodka infusion flight.

Kenny & Zuke's
The Jewish deli known for its pastrami has a Passover menu with matzo ball soup, pot roast, tsimmis with dried fruit, roasted Brussels sprouts, wild mushroom-potato kugel, chocolate-dipped macarons, and Passover honey cake. Place orders at least 48 hours in advance for pickup from March 27-28.

Mittleman Jewish Community Center List
The community center's cafe has a special Passover menu with Seder meals (matzo ball soup, herb-roasted chicken, slow-roasted brisket, roasted lemon dill salmon, portobello mushrooms, and flourless chocolate cake) and á la carte dishes (potato kugel, roasted lemon-thyme chicken, slow-cooked brisket with mushroom sauce, schnitzel, sliced fresh turkey, roast beef, salmon cakes, and lamb kebabs). Each Passover meal also comes with charoset, horseradish, and gefilte fish. Order by midnight on Saturday, March 21, for pickup from 3:30-5:30 pm on Thursday, March 25.

EASTER AND PASSOVER (BOTH)

Baker & Spice List
The small-batch bakery is baking up citrusy, currant-studded hot cross buns for Easter and has a selection of other spring-ready treats, including lemon bundt cakes, "bunny-eared" chocolate cupcakes, mascarpone-filled chocolate egg cakes topped with fondant flowers, shortbread cookies decorated to resemble bunnies and lambs, coconut cream tartlets, and rhubarb buckle. Orders can be placed for hot cross buns starting at 9 am on March 28 and until April 1. For Passover, they also have a menu of unleavened and flourless baked goods, including flourless chocolate cake, hazelnut brownies, mixed berry coconut almond tarts, chocolate-dipped coconut macaroons, and Parisian macarons. The Passover menu is available from March 27 until April 4.

Bullard List
The Tex-Mex-inspired restaurant from former Top Chef contestant Doug Adams has an Easter and Passover menu, with dishes like smoked brisket, smoked and braised lamb, roasted asparagus, creamy polenta, spring pea salad, maple chipotle-glazed carrots, smoked salmon deviled eggs, green salads, mini coconut cream pies, and carrot cake whoopie pies. For Passover, there's also chocolate caramel matzo crunch with sea salt, and for Easter in particular, they'll have hot cross buns. A brunch box is also available with a ham, chèvre, and asparagus quiche, a green salad, zucchini bread, smoked pork belly, house-made sourdough English muffins, rhubarb jam, and assorted Smith teas—add on cocktails like elderflower French 75s.

Elephants Delicatessen
As always, you can count on the beloved specialty food chain for all your holiday meal needs. There's an Easter menu with brunch dishes like quiche and frittatas, appetizers and side dishes like Dungeness crab cakes and deviled eggs, Easter baskets (stuffed with chocolate eggs, jelly beans, two chocolate carrots, one chocolate chick, and a Douglas stuffed bunny), an Applewood smoked ham dinner, and baked goods and desserts, like strawberry rhubarb pie and banana bread. Easter orders must be placed by 12 pm on April 1 for pickup from 9:30 am-3:30 pm, April 3-4. The Passover menu includes traditional favorites like matzo ball soup, charoset, potato latkes, beef brisket with tsimmes gravy, and gefilte fish, plus flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Passover orders are due by 12 pm on March 26 for pickup from 9:30 am-3:30 pm, March 27-28.
