Beat the heat inside the museum and check out Salem-based artist April Waters's Water-Ice-Sky, Antarctica, a frosty exhibition of paintings from her trip to Antarctica as a grantee of the National Science Foundation Antarctic Artists and Writers Program. (We're cooling down already.) The artist's studies and sketches of the Marr Glacier led to this series of works, which illustrate the unusual beauty of a landscape in the midst of climate crisis.
