Benefit for Rob Nosse, state rep representing the Arts in Oregon (and SE PDX), founder of the Arts Caucus, and champion of the Arts in Oregon. Featuring performances by incredible Oregon artists!

We can’t tell you about some of the incredible performers that will be participating (because nonprofits have rules about not participating in politics). Just know that it will be a fun evening and will benefit the arts in Oregon! More details to follow.

The arts in Oregon are really hurting, we are 38th in the country for Arts spending. We spend less than 49 cents per person on the Arts (Minnesota, by comparison, spends $8 per person, NY is $12 per person). This includes Arts Education and access for those who can’t afford it, as well as events and production that lifts voices that need to be heard. Rob is THE champion for the Arts in Oregon; he has started the first ever Arts Caucus, which has over twenty members in the Oregon House and Senate. But without a show of support from you, he can’t do the good work in this realm. You will be treated to some great performances - please come. Rev Hall Show Bar, 6-8pm Jan 18. The future of Arts funding in Oregon is at stake. Rob also prioritizes health care, labor, education, and other causes that are at risk in an increasingly conservative Oregon House.
