The following description comes from the event organizer.

These exhibit panels were displayed on the campuses of the University of Oregon and Oregon State University during February 2014 to accompany public programs about national and state history related to African American football players. The exhibit panels were created by Dr. Darrell Millner of Portland State University in collaboration with OHS staff. The public programs featured Dr. Michael Oriard, former NFL player and Distinguished Professor Emeritus of American Literature and Culture at Oregon State University, and Mr. Herman Brame, independent researcher and author of Forgotten Ducks: The Story of Robinson and Williams. At Oregon State University, the speakers were joined by a panel of sociology professor Dr. Dwiane Plaza, and former OSU football players Earnel Durden (1956-1958) and Ken Simonton (1998-2001).
