What They're Called: DA Kalua Nacho Bomb
What's On Them: Crispy homemade wonton chips drizzled with sriracha aioli, crema, and melted cheese, topped off with kalua pig (Hawaiian-style shredded pork), homemade lomi lomi salmon and poi homemade guacamole with more crema on top
What They Say About Them: We wanted to give a small taste of home with one of Hawai'(s) traditional dishes with a small twist. Kalua Pig is a overnight roasted pork in an underground oven covered with banana leaves & simply seasoned with Hawaiian salt. Traditionally eaten with rice or poi, our Hawai'i has evolved so much which includes our food! Since a variety of cultures have migrated to our islands, our traditional Hawaiian food evolved into something even more 'ono or delicious.
Where and When to Get Them: Grindwittryz, 2017 NE Alberta St / Wednesday–Thursday 12–7 pm, Friday 12–8 pm, Sunday 12–4 pm
