The following description comes from the event organizer.

Feast was founded in 2012 with a mission to celebrate the individuals and the organizations that define our regional food community, and after a three-year hiatus, we are excited to return to a weekend festival format and more committed than ever before to bring our city together in celebration. Feast 2022 marks our tenth anniversary, and we welcome friends from around the country and around the world to join us. That means we’ll be hosting a celebration that’s similar to the Feast you know and love–with large-scale tasting events and cookouts, collaborative dinners, intimate gatherings that combine food and wellness and much more. Feast is back!

While it’s true that some elements that comprise our food and beverage ecosystem have shifted during the pandemic, the pillars of our regional story are stronger than ever. We live in a place that cultivates some of the world’s best ingredients–from the seafood harvested along our awe-inspiring coastline, to the beef and lamb from the vast Eastern meadows, to the lush orchards in our river valleys. And Oregon remains a place that’s rich with humanity–including the generations of farmers, fishers, winemakers, and everyone who calls Oregon home. These are the stories we share with one other, as well as with the world. And to celebrate the end of a beautiful Oregon Summer, we are thrilled to return in ways both familiar and new in 2022.
