This April, Waterstone Gallery is pleased to exhibit "Force of Earth'', a collection of stone sculptures by Dave Haslett. Inspired by the effect wind, water, and erosion have on stone, Haslett follows the natural shapes and markings of the stone to create pieces of timeless beauty. Collaborating with the forces of nature, Haslett allows each unique piece of stone to lead the process and have a voice in the final outcome. With his carving technique, Haslett pushes the material to it's limit - revealing both the fragility, and strength in stone and the world around us.
