Led by singer-songwriter Luz Elena Mendoza, the Portland-based “eclectic indie folk pop” band makes bold political statements in their latest album Mujeres. As its title suggests, the album is a bilingual exploration of women’s experiences, and is dedicated to Mendoza’s mother. Y La Bamba will play two showtimes, and all tickets are sold as two-, four-, or six-person seating pods.
