Swap stargazing stories and scope out celestial sights with fellow astronomy lovers at this free event. Attendees can head to either Rooster Rock State Park or Stub Stewart State Park to participate, and astronomers of all skill levels are invited to join in on the fun (telescopes will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own). This Saturday, the event will double as an autumn equinox celebration, so bring your pumpkin-spiced cheer.
The party will be held at sunset at both Rooster Rock State Park and Stub Stewart State Park. Parking is $5/vehicle. Warm clothing and a flashlight with red light are recommended. RCA volunteers will bring telescopes, though personal telescopes and binoculars are welcome.
