The following description comes from the event organizer.

This exuberant dance theater work by acclaimed NY theater company Witness Relocation investigates the rise and fall of empires – historical, contemporary, urban, political, and even in our personal domains.

Performed and co-choreographed by Marcus McGregor, marking his return to performance after a 15-year hiatus, following a distinguished career as a dancer with Dance Theater of Harlem and Feld Ballet. Other collaborators include Dan Safer, Daniel Pettrow (THE WOOSTER GROUP), text by the Chuck Mee (BIG LOVE), with voiceovers by Kevin Mambo (FELA), Angela Winkler (THE TIN DRUM). Music by Christian Frederickson (RACHEL’S, PALISSIMO) and projections by filmmaker Tom Kalin (SWOON, SAVAGE GRACE).
