The following description comes from the event organizer.

Bag&Baggage Productions, Hillsboro’s resident professional theatre company, invites audiences back to Hillsboro’s Parks for a magical production of The Tempest by William Shakespeare, running August 11th-28th with no cost of admission. Bag&Baggage’s unique take on the classic fantasy tale centers on a Spanish-speaking family, and is full of life, magic, laughter, and love. “There’s magic everywhere,” says director Yasmin Ruvalcaba, “whether it’s the little-kid kind of magic, or a more adult sense of amazement, it’s everywhere. I want people to be able to see our performance and be filled with that element of awe. It helps bring out our inner child, and is a great opportunity to laugh and engage in the healing process.”
The Tempest runs August 11th-28th in Rood Bridge Park, Griffin Oaks Park, and Shute Park. While the production is free, tickets are limited. Ticketing information is available at bagnbaggage.org or by calling (503) 345 - 9590.
