Take a trip back in time…to High School PROM. 

A first ever Retro Prom is being held on June 4, 2022 at 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Elks 823 Lodge, 11605 McGillivray Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98683, just off Hwy 205 in the middle of Vancouver.

Bring friends or a date, all are welcome.  Dust off the old prom dress and tux or maybe a zoot suit or a flapper dress. Attendees are encouraged to wear what they wore to prom or what they wish they had of worn; relive the glory days or rewrite history. 

 

No date? No problem, at the Elks everyone is among friends. Plus, all the cool kids today are going with friends anyway. 

 

June 4, 2022, the doors will open at 5:00 pm and dinner starts at 6:00 pm, followed by dancing, photos, and contests! The DJ will have an extensive playlist of all the best fast and slow dance songs from the 1920s through the 2020s.   There will be a chance to be prom king or queen and corsage and boutonnieres will be available for purchase.  Festivities will end at 10:00 pm.

 

Membership is not required to attend. All are welcome but, must be 21 years old or over.

 

Elks members, in the finest prom attire, will be available for interviews, photos, and video before and at the event.

 

The Elks Fraternal Order of Elks was founded "To promote and practice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members; to quicken the spirit of American Patriotism and cultivate good fellowship." Elks 823 Lodge is just off Hwy 205 in the middle of Vancouver at 11605 McGillivray Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98683.
