Watching costumed people paddle in giant hollowed-out gourds might not have been on your bingo card this fall, but it's been a local October tradition since 2004. In addition to the races on the Tualatin Commons lake, a two-day slate of festivities includes a costume contest, face painting, the 5K Regatta Run, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin golf, and a giant vegetable weigh-off at Stickmen Brewery.
