Founded in 1974 as the Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble, the world-famous Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater evolved under the direction of Sylvia Waters and Troy Powell to become a show-stopping company that still showcases the country’s best dance talent. The company's sixth performance with White Bird will honor Alvin Ailey's pioneering spirit with renewed passion and will "culminate with Ailey's masterpiece, Revelations."
