Hula Hula is a tiki-themed drinking paradise: bamboo wainscoting, thatched roofing around the bar, pufferfish made into lamps, and surfboards etc. stuck to the walls. On weekends, the drinking is purposeful; you might see patrons vacuuming a large carved vessel with 18-inch straws (possibly a Volcano Bowl, $22, served to two guests only and limited to two per guest, ominously composed of "bartender's choice"). Pina coladas are served blended in ceramic coconut shells with paper umbrellas, fruity garnishes, and tiny plastic monkeys. The drinks aren't craft-cocktail quality, and the snacks are eh, but aloha! There's karaoke nightly at 9 p.m.
