This fast-casual spot specializing in donburi bowls debuted in Tigard in late January, with options like spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, and chicken teriyaki.

Hopscotch Add to a List
Aaron Barnes, the owner of Scholar Add to a List and The 1905 Add to a List , launched this new sports bar serving New Jersey-style tavern pizza, along with nachos, burgers, wings, and other pub grub, on Wednesday.

Kaede Add to a List
Chef-owner Izumi Uehara and executive sushi chef Shinji Uehara unveiled this sushi bar in Sellwood on January 20, with a menu of nigiri, sashimi, sushi rolls, and dishes like scallop kushikatsu and tuna tataki, in addition to a selection of sake. The restaurant has paused takeout operations for the time being and is currently available for dine-in only.

SEA Crab House Add to a List
Seafood boil spots like Bag O' Crab Add to a List and Captain's Choice Add to a List have been popping up around town lately. The latest newcomer joining the trend is SEA Crab House, which soft opens a new location in Beaverton's West End district today, followed by a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 9. The business also plans to open locations in Seattle, Portland, Bellevue, and Tacoma this year.

Shizuku by Chef Naoko Add to a List
Rejoice: This acclaimed Japanese spot, which has been on hiatus since early last summer, has reopened for limited takeout, including bento boxes and onigiri.

This upcoming bar from Fermenter Add to a List chef-owner Aaron Adams is set to open on February 18, with a menu of plant-based Cuban bites, small plates, desserts, and cocktails.

Eem Add to a List co-founder and James Beard Award finalist Akkapong Earl Ninsom plans to debut this restaurant inspired by Bangkok's bustling Chinatown neighborhood later this year. The project's location has not yet been announced.

The nonprofit cafe, which provides meals and opportunities for those in need, recently closed its Old Town-Chinatown location due to difficulties with mold and asbestos, leadership, and staff shortages and hopes to reopen at a new TBD location in Old Town.

Kate Norris of the urban winery Division Winemaking Co. and the Rhone-inspired winemaking project Gamine will pour flights of her signature "delicious wines made for good times," paired with ricotta and marmalade crostini from Sebastiano's Deli.

National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day might just be the best holiday you're not celebrating—yet. Kate's Ice Cream will sling warm mochi waffles from HeyDay (including buttery maple syrup waffles and chocolate chip whipped cream waffles) alongside ice cream, toppings, and peanut butter and vanilla affogatos, plus free drip coffee from Deadstock.

Winter Waters x Veganizer x Feral: When I Seaweed, I Smoke It Add to a List
At this event produced by Veganizer in collaboration with Blue Evolution and Oregon Seaweed's Winter Waters, Feral chefs Ryan Koger and August Winningham will dish up a dinner showcasing the versatility of seaweed, in preparations such as seaweed bagna cauda, dashi, masa dumplings and squash, charred cabbage with beurre blanc, and braised apples with custard and crumble. Nan Chaison of Mestizo will provide beverages, and 10% of proceeds will benefit Oregon Kelp Alliance.

Drift Boat Pop-Up Brunch Add to a List
Spokane-based chef and James Beard Award semifinalist Jeremy Hansen, who has worked at the Michelin-starred Cafe Gray in New York, will serve a preview of his upcoming breakfast and brunch spot Drift Boat, which will focus on produce and seafood. Bantam Tavern bar manager Amy Tegge will provide a special cocktail menu to complement the specials.
