Kate's Ice Cream List
Kate's Ice Cream founder Katelyn Williams grew up in Louisiana, so Mardi Gras holds a special place in her heart. The vegan shop is putting a spin on traditional king cake by incorporating it into ice cream form, complete with cinnamon cream cheese king cake chunks and purple, green, and gold Mardi Gras sprinkles. The flavor is available in scoops, pints, and ice cream sandwiches. Crucially, each scoop comes with the traditional baby figurine, so you can crown yourself royalty for a day.

Mysti Krewe of Nimbus will lead the charge down Mississippi as jugglers, dancers, and bead-tossing brethren participate in the city's most authentic Fat Tuesday experience with marching bands, a kid's costume contest, and plenty of Louisiana charm.

Mardi Gras Party with Patrick Foit and Friends Past Event List
Groove to tunes from Patrick Foit and Friends, feast on a seafood boil and king cake, and knock back hurricanes.

Mardi Gras After Party with Lucky Beaucoup Past Event List
Cajun-spiced swamp-funk party band Lucky Beaucoup will oversee this annual Mardi Gras parade after party, lending Portland some of their Louisiana flair. Local group Too Loose will join the party with their Cajun and zydeco dance hall sounds.
