The following description comes from the event organizer.

Portland musicians and Albina Music Trust founders, Calvin Walker (XRAY FM Board Member) and Bobby Smith (former host of Night School on XRAY) will discuss the vibrant Black music culture of North Portland from the 1960s through the 1980s and the political and cultural changes that immobilized it. This event is part of Beaverton City Library’s One Book, One Beaverton community-wide read program.
