The following description comes from the event organizer.

Featured live on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in 2020 and named a “New Face of Comedy” at the 2019 Just For Laughs Festival in Montréal, Isabel Hagen has quickly made a name for herself as on of the most promising young comedians in America.

In addition, Isabel holds multiple degrees in Viola Performance from The Juilliard School and has toured internationally with groups such as The American Contemporary Music Ensemble (ACME), Alarm Will Sound, and Ensemble Signal. A versatile musician, she has performed with artists such as Björk, Max Richter, and Steve Reich, and has played in numerous shows on Broadway.

This unique event will combine music and comedy in unexpected ways that will invite our Portland audience on a truly unprecedented- and unforgettable journey. Imagine I’m Someone Else inaugurates Fear No Music’s 31st Season. Titled Generations, this season explores the continuum of creativity passed from one generation to the next, and celebrates a milestone 25 years of Fear No Music’s Young Composers Project, our groundbreaking initiative in mentoring young composers. Every concert this season will include one or more works by alumni of our YCP program, as well as works by composers who mentored or influenced them.
