About:
Dance, celebrate, and enjoy holiday themed beverages and food at Portland's First-ever Hanukkah-themed pop-up experience: L’Chaim Community Space & Taproom!       

As the evenings are getting longer and darker, 'Light Up the Night' is the ultimate way to celebrate community, create light, dance together, and connect in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere! 

Music:
Barak Kemeny (fCD) will spin Disco deep-cuts from the Mediterranean, Middle East, North Africa, Electro-Klezmer, Baltic Groove, Soul, Motown, Funk, and more…

Your Boogie operator, DJ fCD, will mix traditional beats with modern electronic sounds, creating deep, lush and melodic grooves that transcends boundaries and captivate your senses. 

During the 2010's, fCD became renowned for energetic sets and made partygoers dance in the sweaty warehouse scene of Brooklyn. He shared the stage with Modern English, Fujiya & Miyagi & Mattie Saifer (The Rapture). Featured in VICE, The New Yorker, The Deli Magazine and Bushwick Daily. 

Schedule:
Shabbat Candle Lighting Ceremony at 6:00PM 
Dance Party at 7:00 PM-10:00PM
First ten attendees will receive a surprise gift or two! ;)         

Party Attire/Party Objects:
Attendees are encouraged to wear bright clothing and bring/wear objects that create light! Festive Hanukkah- themed attire highly encouraged! Think White and Blue clothing, Ugly Hanukkah Sweaters, Adhesive Face Jewelry, Glow Sticks, Bike Lights, EL Wire [Electro Luminescent] Disco Lights...anything that helps create light! And don’t forget to bring your dance moves & good vibes!

Food & Drinks:
After getting fired up from dancing, our bartenders will be standing by with specialty Hanukkah -themed cocktails and mocktails! (Drinks & Food Various Prices, 'Light Up the Night' Event: Suggested Donation 5$ +)
