The following description comes from the event organizer.

For almost one hundred years, Oregon Society of Artists has thrived as a place for artists to come together. It serves as a hub for the exchange of ideas, the development of skills, and the celebration of art and culture. Community Ties honors the people who make OSA–the volunteers, instructors, and students who bring their creativity and passion to our community week after week! Because of your contributions, the true spirit of collaboration and curiosity on which OSA was founded is as alive today as it was in 1926. Open to all students, instructors, and volunteers of OSA and any media, subject matter, or style of art, Community Ties will exhibit the diversity, ingenuity, and talent of OSA’s community members.
