Rose Tinted’s monthly residency at Holocene sees the titular Portland-based hip-hop band playing a slew of classic tunes and collaborating with local DJs, beat-makers, MCs, and R&B artists; this month the artist being showcased just happens to fit into each one of those categories. Whether he’s hosting, DJing, producing, rapping about anime, or singing irresistibly groovy, danceable soul tunes, playing witness to Fountaine’s live act is always a fun, invigorating experience.
