Bring the sunshine inside with us this Solstice as we light up your night with a dynamic evening of music, dancing, and friendship at our annual Winter show!

Featuring two notable Portland songwriters and a swath of star-studded musicians, Robin Jackson and Michelle Alany present their unique sounds of Indie folk, pop, jazzy soul, Klezmer, Balkan beats, Blues, and more. We'll get you dancing, crying, laughing, and swaying with stories of Russian immigrants, adventure, heartbreak, joy, and all it means to be human.

We may also throw in a little post-Hanukkah hora as well!

Space is limited and we will sell out for this special night - so get your tickets while you can! OPA!

"A captivating song-crafter, a true storyteller." - NPR.

An Award-winning songwriter, teacher, activist, and spirited impresario, Jackson has built on his colorful, bohemian upbringing and dedicated himself to creating connection through art and music. He has played with everyone from Marchfourth to Gogol Bordello to Amanda Palmer to Devotchka and most recently with The Polish Ambassador. His songs are an eclectic brew of dreamy, vintage folk-pop. whimsical Americana, gypsy-tinged jazz, and acoustic storytelling. He has two albums out; 'Dust Diaries' (2010) and Dark Stars (2017) and his third album is slated for 2024.

Violinist and vocalist, Michelle Alany, is a dynamic international performer & ambassador of world folk traditions.  Deeply inspired by traditional music, she draws from a wealth of diverse influences and creates original folk songs in the vein of her fresh interpretations of Sephardic, Klezmer, Balkan as well as American folk music explorations. Her writing and performance also bring years of collaborative experience with singer-songwriters while living Austin, Tx and both coasts, continuing to the present in Portland, Oregon. Michelle enjoys sharing songs as cultural vehicles for celebrating differences and appreciating similarities. Michelle’s versatility and depth as a performer will stir your soul, delight your senses, commune with your ancestors and ignite your spirit.
