In an effort to minimize food waste, please select your Brunch Plate when pre-purchasing your ticket. There is a seprate ticket available for each Brunch Plate.

Welcome to Southern Belles Drag Brunch, Portland’s first & only farm-to-table drag brunch! Hosted by Portland’s favorite Drag Auntie Miss Lala Benet & local queer Chef Jed Thaggard (aka Celine Dijon), Southern Belles Drag Brunch is the whole Southern experience — hospitality, charm, glamour, and elevated comfort food! Mark your calendars for the last Sunday of the month and don your Sunday’s finest, cos we’re fixin’ to take you to church honey!

WHEN: Easter Sunday, March 31. Seating begins at 10 am. Drag show at 11:30.

Lala Benét is your favorite country Auntie, that’s also a Drag Queen! Lala was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, but her Southern family roots extend throughout the South, from Alabama to North Carolina, right on up to the Mason-Dixon Line! Lala is a licensed mental health professional by day and a twirling ‘Queen of the night’! As your favorite Drag Queen Auntie, Lala aims to bring you joy, she’ll make you feel seen, safe, and laugh! Sometimes she'll make you think, but she'll always make you smile and say “OoooLala!!!”

Originally from the Appalachian region of Tennessee, now residing in Portland, Oregon, Jed (aka Celine Dijon) is a co-owner at Gather Around Nutrition, a local farm-to-table catering & meal prep company focused on healthy food & seasonal eating. After years of attending many of Portland’s beloved drag brunches, but always feeling a bit underwhelmed by the food options, Celine Dijon has finally decided to take matters into her own hands by teaming up with fellow Southern belle Lala Benét to serve you up something special! 

So sit back and enjoy the show while also enjoying a high-quality brunch, sourced from local sustainable farms & ranches, inspired by the soulful and comfort classics we grew up on. 

Tunes will be provided by a guest DJ!
