Chef Sun Hong, who has been running a hand roll sushi pop-up called By Tae (meaning "by hand"), has opened this counter in the former space of Petite Galette, with hand rolls available for dining in or to-go, and sake to drink. Bon Appetit deputy editor Julia Kramer called it "a hand-roll counter with a surplus of personality" and selected it as a nomination for the magazine's 50 best new restaurants in the U.S. for 2019.
