This week, MILK+T debuts a pint-sized new store, Snowy Village brings bingsu and French taiyaki to North Vancouver Avenue, and Rally Pizza is set to return as a pop-up on Pi Day. Ava Gene's List and Cicoria List
The lauded Submarine Hospitality restaurants Ava Gene's and Cicoria are set to reopen their doors next Friday, March 17. Industry vet Brookes Decker is taking over as Submarine director of operations, while Ross Effinger and Amelia Kirk will serve as co-executive chefs.

MILK+T Mini List
The self-described "friendly neighborhood queer boba bar" MILK+T is going all out to celebrate the grand opening Past Event List of its newest (and tiniest!) store MILK+T Mini this Saturday, March 11. Festivities include boozy boba, "boba pong," arts and crafts, speeches, a lion dance by White Lotus, raffle prizes, local vendors, BTS cup sleeves created in collaboration with KPOP NW (in celebration of band member Suga's birthday), and a giveaway with 100 free mystery bags filled to the brim with goodies.

Rally Pizza List
We love a good comeback: According to a press release, Vancouver's family-friendly pizzeria Rally Pizza will reopen as a permanent pop-up inside Victor 23 Brewing List on Tuesday, March 14 (otherwise known as Pi Day). Rally will take over food service for the brewpub, serving a menu of pizzas, sides, salads, and bar snacks.

Snowy Village List
This sweet shop chain specializing in Korean desserts like bingsu (a Korean shaved ice treat) and French taiyaki (a croissant-inspired take on the popular Japanese fish-shaped cake) soft opened its first Oregon location on March 4. Unlike similar bingu producers, the business makes their fluffy, snow-like ice from 100% milk, with no water added.

This cozy neighborhood pub closed on March 1 after nine years of business. However, all is not lost: Owner Matt Walker hopes to reopen in a larger space after a hiatus.

After a dozen years, this family-owned coffee shop has closed permanently. Owners Winston and Lenner Sandino plan to continue farming coffee in Nicaragua.

Nico's Ice Cream will give away a free year of ice cream
If you've ever wanted to gorge on all the ice cream you can eat, here's your chance: Nico's Ice Cream owner Nico Vergara has concealed a golden ticket inside one of the business's half pints. The lucky finder will be treated to a year of free ice cream.

Past Event List Nine Portland breweries will prove that they're not just a one-trick pony by showing off enticing food options in addition to their beer. All participating locations will offer a $35 three-course meal with an appetizer, entree, dessert, a drink (beer, house wine, or non-alcoholic beverage), and a $10 voucher for your next meal.

In celebration of Holi, the frozen treat shop is currently serving kulfi inspired by thandai (a beverage traditionally served during the holiday). Their version is steeped with cardamom, fennel seeds, saffron, cinnamon, poppy seeds, and peppercorns overnight and finished with a hint of almonds and rosewater before freezing.

Sugarpine Drive-In List
Sometimes you feel like a nut, and for those times, there’s the new Almond Joy-inspired sundae at Sugarpine Drive-In, featuring chocolate soft serve, honey hot fudge, Marcona almond brittle, and whipped coconut mousse. The spot also debuted its new spring menu on yesterday, bringing back its popular frosé.
