The following description comes from the event organizer.

Broadway Books is excited to welcome back Arn Strasser for a poetry reading of his sixth collection, THE ASYMMETRY OF SILENCE.  An emotional journey across time, people and places, this volume draws from a life being fully lived. The journey is a varied one...poems of loss, longing and silences, Zen-like meditations, stories of mermaids and make believe poets, fables of lovers and love songs. Arn Strasser has been called a generous poet, and here we have a book that is again generous, filled with an awe for the mysteries of life.

Arn Strasser is an artist and writer who lived for many years in Portland, and who now lives and works in Mexico, were he maintains a studio and is active in the cultural life of central Mexico. He graduated with a masters in Architecture from the University of Oregon. He has published in addition to his poetry books, books touching on architecture and drawing, which are available at Broadway Books.
