"There’s a podcast called Artist/Mother that I listen to on occasion. They had a call for entries called 'Painting at Night.' I thought this name really fit. It’s even more difficult for mothers during Covid. 'Painting at Night' might now be called 'Painting During a Nap, if I’m Lucky!' Balancing work and no childcare is a tough task. However, we still find joy in being able to spend more time with our kids. I try to capture that exhaustion through a bit of dark humor. Hopefully this helps others know they aren’t alone with their struggles during this time." (Promo Copy)
