A former inmate of the Central California Women’s Facility, the largest women's prison in the world, goes to court to seek reparations for the institution's horrific human rights violations—namely forcing women (particularly women of color, herself included) to undergo forced sterilizations. Given similar crimes committed against immigrant women at an ICE detention center in Georgia, this documentary from Emmy- and Peabody Award-winning director Erika Cohn is a must-see.
