Cherry presents another insane Thursday special for y’all: this time with PNW techno legend minimal violence. Ash Luk is revered for their intense hardware sets that blend acid, hard techno and trance into a tornado of sound that knocks the unsuspecting on their asses. Since relocating from Vancouver BC minimalviolence has been dominating the techno scene in Berlin and is a regular fixture of clubs like Berghain and Tresor. Their latest release “Phase Three” is a fantastic representation of their development as a musician, gritty as ever, but still intricate and stimulating in a way few others in their field could accomplish. We are truly beside ourselves to welcome back such an important fixture to the PNW. On support we have Kremwerk icon IVVY, warming us up with a divine and sharp opening live set, they've been cranking this one out for months and it’s truly gotta be heard to be believed. Closing the night out we have the demon saint of CLANG, DJ Headwound, a young DJ whose productions are launching them quickly into the stratosphere. This is really one shit-kicker of a show show, so keep your aspirin handy for the next day. See you on the floor!
