Anyone who’s ever drunk too much eggnog or eaten too many milk-chocolate Santas has likely realized how much better Christmas would be without dairy. The Animal Rights Initiative is hosting a holiday-themed vegan bake-off to show you just how much better. Home bakers will compete to see who can make the best candies, cookies, one-handed pastries (muffins, doughnuts, and the like), and fork pastries (pies and cakes) without using ingredients that came from anything with eyes and toes.
