God, I kinda love this Summer Jam lineup. It’s a boiling cauldron of absolute, unrepentant, sloppy turn-up. Headliner YG is one of the most adept (and fun) rappers on the West Coast, still riding the wave of his particular take on G-funk from his most recent record, Stay Dangerous. While Miami rap duo City Girls (one-half of which is in jail—free JT!) are also making an appearance, ensuring that someone is about to get played by a beautiful woman that night. I’m here for that. Also of note: Local rapping prodigy and Macklemore protégé Travis Thompson is performing, as will Lil Baby, Kid Ink, and Pardison Fontaine. by Jas Keimig
